Title: Inviting Disaster
Series: Avatar: The Legend of Korra
Characters/Pairing: Korra/Asami, Mako, Bolin, Lin Beifong, Hiroshi Sato

Summary: When Mako and Bolin pull out of an 'invitation' from Asami to appear at an Equalist fundraiser, Korra is roped in to represent the Fire Ferrets. She can handle gangsters and chi-blockers, but aristocrats? Well...
The practice room in the back of the Republic City Pro-Bending Arena was relatively quiet today, save for the occasional *thnk* of Bolin's Earthbending discs as he fired them into the short target range, and that was how Mako preferred it. He was

It's all going to come down to the execution, of course, but the concept as has been presented thus far has me prancing in the streets. There's nothing about it I don't like. Then again, I latch onto girl-ensemble series like... well, something really adhesive.
The designs are all sorts of cute (ohgoshsocute), and I especially love that they're (hopefully) still all pastel skin colors. Not only because I  colors, but do you know how many silly arguments I've weathered about what somepony's "race" should be the second I ever find a nice humanized pony fanart and dare to look at comments? As if that ever had anything to do with... with

How We Got To This Point
So, yes. You may have noticed a piece of artwork in recent updates. If one can call it that. I sketched it in pencil, then scanned it, then learned various aspects of digital coloring for 12 hours, and one onset of carpal tunnel syndrome later, there we go. It's hardly perfect, and I've been notified that Twi has quite the case of what the kids this century call "badonkadonk," but damn it, it's mine. Besides, that's where that wonderful thing called "practice" comes in. I think I'll revisit this picture concept this time next year, once I've got a few dozen more drawings--and who knows how many sketches--notched off.
This is going to sound s

Early one afternoon, two unicorns walked together along one of Ponyville's side roads.
"Thanks again for accompanying me, Twilight."
"No problem at all, Rarity. So, can you tell me now why we're headed to Applejack's? I thought she was supposed to be busy today."
"Field testing." Rarity gave a confident nod towards a familiar barn as they approached it.
"...still not following."
"A couple of weeks ago, Applejack was planning her annual family reunion, and said that she needed somepony to help cater. Since a certain one of us we know quite well owed all of us an apology at the time,
Welp, not much to say so I'll keep it short. Name's CViperFan (formerly BebopSamurai) and I'm gonna be setting up shop (metaphorically speaking) on DA from now on.
Basics are simple: I love cartoons (more Western than Eastern anymore, though there are a handful of exceptions), video games (not too picky) and have come to terms with the fact that I am a shameless, SHAMELESS yuri/femslasher, with particular fondness for left-field and/or less popular ships X) So yeah, that's mostly what I deal in.

Okay yeah. For the time being, the No More Heroes Holly/Naomi yuri doujin "House Call" is on hold. I've been getting them out pretty fast over the last month or so, and it's starting to catch up with me. I definitely want to finish this, though, so I will try to be back on it within the next couple of weeks. But for the time being, I need a break from this for a bit.

So "House Call" is still proceeding along, though I think I might need to take a break from it for a bit. The amount I have left is... well, I don't have a whole lot of 'writing' left, but the reality of it is starting to catch up with me. There are some other short projects I've had in mind for a while, might do one or two of those and recharge the ol' batteries a bit. I'm gonna try to at least get up to pages 11 and 12 before I decide formally, so I'll say something when I make a decision.
In other news, I know I promised that this would not become a blog-blog... and I'm staying consistent with that. But I'm now officially on Tumblr, i
Hi! Your friendly neighborhood CViperFan here wishing everyone a happy new year! One of my (okay, ONLY) resolutions for 2012 was to actually start updating this journal-kajigger and keep at it fairly regularly, mostly to keep track of my current projects and such.
Speaking of current projects, "House Call" (my Naomi/Holly doujin for "No More Heroes") is proceeding slow but steady, and even with my full-time job keeping my precious free hours to a minimum (and then having to split that between HC and games and of course, cartoons,) I'm going to try to update two pages every 1-2 weeks. Currently it's all plotty stuff (with flirty times appr
